APICET 2017: The Andhra Pradesh Integrated Common Entrance Test is commonly known as APICET. Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati on behalf of Andhra Pradesh State Council for Higher Education (APSCHE) will conduct APICET 2017 for admissions to state level post graduate management programmes across its participating institutes. According to the official notification, AP ICET 2017 will be conducted on May 2 and the results will be announced on May 9, 2017. The applicaton process for the test has started. The last date to register for the test without late fee was April 5. APSCHE has also announced the application correction schedule which is from April 5 to 10, 2017. Announcing the dates and the online mode of the test, State HRD Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao said that this year onwards APICET will be conducted for the first time in an online mode. Till last year, AP ICET was conducted in a paper-pencil mode.

This year the officials will also release a mock test from March 15, for the aspirants to learn about the APICET 2017 exam structure and prepare for the test accordingly. The official conducting body have also released a mobile application to help candidates keep a track of the test.

According to the APICET 2017 eligibility criteria, Indian nationals with a recognised graduation degree can apply for the test.
Candidates need to have minimum 50 per cent marks (45 per cent for reserved category candidates) at graduation level.
Candidates in their final year of graduation can also apply for AP ICET 2017.
The application form of APICET 2017 is available from March 1, 2017. The application process is completely online for the candidates to fill. Candidates must visit the official website, and follow the registration process by clicking on the Apply online button. The AP ICET application fee has to be paid online only via any debit or credit card. The steps for APICET 2017 application form filling are:
Visit the APICET website and fill the details like- Name, Father’s Name, Date of Birth, and Phone Number.
Once filled the application form, candidate will receive a receipt of Registration which will contain a Transaction ID.
Now log-in again using the transaction ID and fill all details in the APICET application form and submit.
The APICET application form 2017 correction window opens from April 5 and will end on April 10, 2017. Information related to personal, academic and contact details can be edited in case of submitting wrong information during application process.
Application Fee: The AP ICET 2017 application forms is available against the fee payment of Rs. 450 (for all category candidates).

AP ICET 2017 will be conducted in an online mode, i.e. Computer based mode. Till last year, the test was conducted in paper-pen based modes across centres. However, there has been no changes announced in the exam structure of APICET. The test will be of two hours thirty minutes with a total of 200 questions across sections.

Those candidates who have filled the application form and submitted the fee will be considered eligible to appear in the test. Only such candidates will be able to download the APICET admit card, from April 28, 2017 onwards. The admit card/hall ticket is an important document for every candidate to carry at the test venue. Without the APICET hall ticket no student will be allowed to appear in the test. The admit card will have information like candidates name, test venue and test details.
APICET officials will release the AP ICET 2017 answer key to let the students match and check the answers they have marked during the actual test. The officials answer key will release on May 4, 2017. This will be a preliminary answer key and the final answer key will be released along with the APICET results on May 10, 2017.
The result for AP ICET 2017 will be announced on May 10, 2017. APICET 2017 result will be declared in the form of ranks of the candidates who appeared in the test. After the announcement of the APICET results candidates have to follow the counselling rounds to avail final admissions.
As per the counselling procedure, candidates first will be shortlisted on the basis of APICET 2017 scores. These shortlisted candidates then have to participate in the counselling process for final selection. The counselling procss for APICET is likely to start from first week of June 2016. The counselling rounds will strictly be according to candidates ranks or merit list.
