The total marks of APICET 2017 are 200. General candidates have to qualify the cutoff of 25 per cent marks (50 marks out of 200).
No qualifying marks have been prescribed for SC and ST categories.
The tie-breaker will be applied if more than one candidate scores the same marks. The criteria for tie-breaker is as follows:
1. Marks scored in section A will be considered.
2. If the tie still persists, marks obtained by candidate in section B will be referred.

The seat allotment is entirely dependent on the APICET 2017 cutoff and will be applicable only for those candidates who score the requisite ranks or marks as prescribed by the respective college. Only those candidates who achieve the ranks or marks equal to or higher to the cutoff will be called for counselling.
The cutoff will vary among all participating B-Schools and will be different for candidates belonging to various categories. It will be available in online mode only in pdf format and the link will be shared on this page when shared by the authorities.
