Steps to Check APICET 2017 Result


Candidates can check their results of APICET 2017 by entering their login details and following the below specified steps:

  • Click on the official website link.

  • Enter the number of your Hall Ticket of APICET 2017.

  • Print your score card of APICET 2017.

AP ICET Result 2017 – Tie Breaker


In an event where one or more candidates get similar marks, a tie-breaker will be used to assess the qualifying candidate based on the following steps:

  • Section A: Marks scored by candidate in this section will be considered first while applying the tie-breaker.

  • Section B: This section will be referred to in case the tie persists after scores of section A.

  • If the tie still persists, age of the candidates will be considered and older ones will be given priority.

Based on the performance of the candidate and overall passing percentage observed during the APICET result 2017, the cutoff of APICET 2017 will be prepared which will decide the eligibility scores and other criteria for qualifying for the counselling rounds. Admissions will be granted to only those candidates who fulfill the prescribed guidelines laid down by the re4spective B-Schools offering the management programmes.


The cutoff will be declared by all participating institutions individually on the basis of the following criteria -

  • APICET 2017 carries total marks of 200, out of which 25 per cent marks have to be acquired by candidates belonging to General category (50 marks out of 200).

  • Candidates belonging to SC and ST categories don’t have a prescribed minimum marks to be scored.
