Himachal Pradesh University Management Aptitude Test (HPU MAT) is a state-level entrance test conducted by HPU Business School for admitting students to its MBA program. While filling HPU MAT 2024 application form, candidates are required to pay the category-wise application fee for the same. General category candidates need to pay Rs 1000 as an application fee, while the reserved category candidates, Rs 500. Candidates who will be meeting the eligibility criteria, that is, having a Bachelor's degree in any discipline with 50% marks can apply for this state MBA entrance test. HPU MAT Eligibility Criteria 2024

Candidates who want to appear for the entrance test must fulfill the HPU MAT eligibility criteria of the same otherwise they will not be allowed to appear and give the entrance examination. Following is the eligibility criteria for HPU MAT.

• The candidates must be having a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a statutory or recognized university or institution.
• The candidates must have scored at least 50 percent in the qualifying examination, however, for candidates belonging to the SC/ST category, there will be a relaxation of 5 percent.
• The candidates who are in their final year of the qualifying examination are also eligible to apply.

• The candidate should sign with black ink on white paper and get the signature scanned.
• The signature must be signed only by the applicant and not by any other person.
• Maximum size 100 KB.
• Scanned signature format should be .jpg or .jpeg only.
• The filename should be of 10 character maximum
• The candidate’s father/mother should sign with black ink on white paper and get the signature scanned.

• The photograph should be formal.

How to fill HPU MAT Application Form 2024?

After checking the eligibility criteria, the candidates who are eligible have to fill in the application form of HPU MAT 2024 before the specified last date. Check the steps given below, to know how to fill the application form.

Step 1 - Click on the “PG/UG/Ph.D./Certificate Diploma” to get the list of programmes
Step 2 - Now, choose the preferred programme and click on the programme name
Step 3 - Before clicking on the programme, click on the instructions of filling online HPU MAT registration , a pdf file will open which the candidates have to read carefully
Step 4 - Then, click on the programme name for which the candidate is willing to apply
Step 5 - After clicking on the programme, a pop up will appear for the terms and conditions
Step 6 - Check the terms and conditions, after which, the candidate will be redirected to the personal information page
Step 7 - The online application form will have the following information:

2. Education and Document Details
3. Application Summary
4. Payment
5. Submit the application form

Step 8 - Start filling the application form with the personal information
Step 9 - After filling in the personal information, click on the ‘Save’ button
Step 10 - The system will generate the Unique Registration Number (URN) and a password.
Step 11 - The Unique Registration Number along with the password will be sent on the registered email and registered mobile number. Note down the unique Registration Number. The candidates are advised to note the same for future references
Step 12 - After that, the candidates have to continue and fill other required information
Step 13 - Post registration, click on the ‘PG/UG/PhD/Certificate Diploma’ on the home page and click on the ‘Click here for Student Login’
Step 14 - Login with the help of the Unique Registration Number and password and complete the filling the application form
Step 15 - The candidates are required to fill in all information required in different sections like education and documents
Step 16 - Now, fill in the education and document details and upload the necessary documents. The photo and signature that are uploaded should be as per specifications
Step 17 - Click on the 'Continue and Save button at the bottom of each screen to save the data
Step 18 - Now, make the payment of the application fees, which can be done through online mode.

How to pay the fee in online mode?

1. If the online payment mode is selected, click on ‘make payment’
2. On the next page, select payment gateway – choose HDFC/COOPERATIVE Bank
3. Click on the ‘continue for payment’ tab
4. Opt amongst the options given (debit card, credit card, net banking etc.- check the available banks and card types)
5. Fill the card details carefully as required
6. If the payment is done successfully, then the candidates will receive a success message with all the details, below the message, a button ‘Click here to go to the final submit page’ will be available. Click on the button, to be redirected to finally submit the application
7. Click on the ‘Submit Application Form’ button to get the form finally submitted

Candidates who successfully fill and submit the HPU MAT exam application form will only be able to download the HPU MAT admit card. No candidate will be allowed entry into the test centre and permission to appear for the exam if he/she will fail to carry the admit card.
