IIFT Selection Procedure 2017: The selection procedure of IIFT 2017 are held for those candidates who have cleared the exam and have scored as per the cut off the exam. The IIFT 2017 selection procedure is conducted by the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) Delhi and Kolkata campus. The selection procedure of IIFT will commence on January/ February 2018 after candidates appear for the IIFT entrance exam and the results are declared. After the IIFT results are declared, the institute will shortlist the candidates based on the marks scored by each as per the cutoff. The shortlisted candidates will then be further called for the next selection round. Stages of IIFT Selection Procedure 2017
The selection procedure is conducted after candidates take IIFT 2017 and the first result is announced. Candidates have to meet the cutoff set by the institute to be eligible for the IIFT selection procedure 2017. The IIFT 2017 selection procedure comprises various round which shortlisted candidates have to go through in order to obtain admission into IIFT.
Below are the stages of the IIFT selection procedure 2017:
Written Test- To begin with the selection procedure of IIFT 2017, candidates are first called for a written test as decided by the institute.
Essay Writing- While in this stage, candidates may be asked to write essay or answer the comprehension as per candidate’s understanding capability. This round is conducted in order to assess the writing ability of the candidate. Post the stage, candidates will then be asked to appear for the GD & PI round.
Group Discussion (GD) & Personal Interview (PI)- candidates who will be shortlisted after the results are declared have to appear for a GD & PI. In this round, candidates’ verbal communication skills will be assessed. The GD & PI rounds as per previous years trend are likely to be held in January/ February 2018.
Indian Institute of Foreign Trade admits candidates on the basis of the marks scored by each as per the cut off and the marks scored in the next selection rounds. Candidates are admitted under categories such as General, OBC, SC/ ST and PH. Both the campuses of IIFT offer nearly 450 seats for over 40,000 students.
