IPMAT 2017IPMAT 2017: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Indore has conducted Integrated Programme in Management Aptitude Test (IPMAT) 2017 on May 16, 2017. The admission for Five-Year Integrated Programme in Management 2017-22 batch will take place through IPMAT 2017 scores. The result of IPMAT 2017 is expected to be declared in the last week of May. The shortlisted candidates will have to appear for the final selection rounds.

It is likely that around 17,000 candidates have applied and appeared in the test. Last year, the total number of applicants was 17,853 out of which 15,555 had appeared for the test. There are 120 seats for the programme. The first batch of the programme passed out in 2016.

IPMAT Result 2017The officials will announce the results online in the last week of May 2017. Candidates will be shortlisted for further admission rounds, only on the basis of the results.

 

IPMAT Selection Procedure 2017: Candidates will first be shortlisted on the basis of the results. The shortlisted candidates will be called for Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI). The final selection of a candidate will be done on the basis of overall performance in the Aptitude Test (IPMAT) and WAT-PI. For generating the final merit list, 50 per cent weightage will be assigned to IPMAT 2017 scores, 35 per cent to PI and 15 per cent to WAT scores.

 

IPMAT Admit Card 2017: Only registered candidates were able to download the admit card from the official website from May 8 onwards. Students had to enter the registered id along with the password. 

 

IPMAT Exam Pattern 2017: IPMAT is a computer-based test, which will have 100 questions to be completed in two hours. The objective type test is divided into two sections- Quantitative Ability and Verbal Ability. The sections are time bound, where the duration of Quantitative Ability section will be 75 minutes and that of Verbal Ability is 45 minutes. There are 65 questions in the QA section and 35 questions in VA section.

 

Marking Scheme: As per the marking scheme, each question carries four marks, and every wrong answer will have a deduction of one mark.

 

IPMAT Eligibility Criteria 2017: As per the eligibility, candidates appearing for the final examination of Higher Secondary/XII Std./+2 level/equivalent with minimum 60 per cent and 55 per cent marks in aggregate for the General and reserved category candidates respectively. While calculating the aggregate mark, student must add compulsory subjects. They need not have mathematics as a core subject.

 

Students also have an age limit to apply for the test. The age limit for general and NC‐OBC Category must not be more than 20 years as on July 31, 2017. For SC/ST/PWD candidates, the age limit is 22 years.

 

IPMAT Application Form 2017: IPMAT 2017 application procedure had started from March 16, 2017 and ended on April 18. The application form filling process is completely online for the eligible candidates. Applicants have to register online by filling the form and submitting the documents along with the fee. Candidates also have to upload the attested copies of the required documents as per the instructions in the brochure.

 

Application Fee: The application fee to be paid by the candidates was Rs. 1400 and Rs. 700 for the General/NC-OBC and reserved category candidates respectively.
