IRMA 2017IRMA 2017: IRMA 2017 or IRMA Issues of Social Concern is a national level entrance examination conducted by the Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA), for admissions to Postgraduate Diploma in Rural Management (PGDRM) batch of 2017-19. The final result for IRMA Issues of Social Concern (IRMA ISC) has been declared on March 31, 2017. IRMA had announced the admission notification for the PGDRM 2017-19 on September 5, 2016. IRMA 2017 exam was conducted on February 12, 2017. The officials had released the download process of IRMA Admit Card from February 3, 2017 onwards. The total number of seats available for PRM 2017-19 session is 180. The IRMA application process was available from October 1, 2016 in online modes. IRMA 2017 Result: Candidates who appeared in IRMA 2017 can check their results from February 23, 2017. Based on the IRMA scores and cutoffs, candidates have been shortlisted for Group Activities and Personal Interview. The result is announced in the form of sectional and overall scores. The final result of IRMA 2017 has been announced on March 31, 2017.

 

IRMA 2017 cutoff: A cutoff is the minimum scores required by the candidates to be able to get shortlisted for further selection rounds. IRMA has announced category wise cutoff. The category wise expected cutoff for Group Activity (GA) and Personal Interview (PI) is mentioned in the table below:

IRMA 2017 Selection ProcedureCandidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their IRMA scores as well as CAT/XAT scores. The shortlisted students will have to appear for Group Activity and Personal Interview rounds.

 

The following weightages may be used for short listing applicants for GA & PI:

For the selection process of PRM 2017-19, the combined scores will be considered. There may be separate cutoffs for CAT 2016/XAT 2017 scores, ISC score and total score.

 

IRMA 2017 Exam Pattern: IRMA Issues of Social Concern was an objective type computer based test, which have 40 multiple choice objective type questions. The duration of the exam was 30 minutes. The marks per question have been announced at the time of the exam. There was negative marking for wrong answers.

 

IRMA 2017 Admit Card: The registered applicants could download their IRMA 2017 admit cards from February 3, 2017 onwards, till the test day. They could download the admit card by entering their form number and DOB. No candidates were allowed to enter in examination hall without IRMA 2017 hall ticket. No hard copies of the IRMA admit card was sent by the officials.

IRMA 2017 Application Form: IRMA 2017 Application Form for admission to Postgraduate Diploma in Rural Management (PGDRM) 2017-19 could be filled through offline and online modes. IRMA 2017 Application Form was available from October 1, 2016. Earlier, the last dates of offline and online application were January 23 and December 30, 2016, which was extended till January 16 and 20, 2017 respectively.

Application fee: The application fee for IRMA 2017 for General & OBC candidates was Rs. 1200, while for SC/ST/DAP candidates it was Rs. 600. The entire application fee for candidates belonging to Below Poverty Line (BPL) was waived off.

 

IRMA 2017 Eligibility CriteriaThe eligibility for IRMA was as stated below:

  • Applicants must have a graduation degree from a recognized institute/university with at least 50% aggregate marks.

  • Applicants belonging to SC/ST/ DAP (Differently Abled Person), must have a minimum of 45% aggregate marks at the graduation level.

  • The candidates should have studied for at least 15 years (10+2+3 years)

  • Students must also have valid CAT 2016 or XAT 2017 scores

  • Final year graduation students can apply provided they fulfill the eligibility criteria is fulfilled by June 12, 2017
