MAH CET 2017: The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra has declared the MAH CET MBA/MMS 2017 provisional merit list on June 5. The final merit list will be declared on June 10, 2017. Candidates who wish to file for grievance would be able to do so by June 6-7, 2017, till 5 PM. Earlier, The result of MAH CET 2017 has announced on March 10, 2017, after 5 PM. The MAH CET 2017 merit list carrying the test takers' rank, score and percentiles have been announced on March 14. As many as 88,226 candidates had appeared for the exam. The total number of applicants was 94,679. Around seven per cent applicants skipped the test. The state level MBA entrance exam for Maharashtra or MAH CET 2017 was conducted on March 4 and 5, 2017. The annual state level management entrance test- Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MAH CET) is held for short listing candidates for admissions to post graduate management programmes (MBA/MMS) at various state level DTE affiliated universities in Maharashtra. The test was conducted in a computer based mode in multiple sessions. Candidates can download their score cards by entering their MAH CET 2017 Registration Number and Date of Birth. Around 40,000 seats are offered admission in the B-schools across Maharashtra state on the basis of MAH MBA/MMS CET scores. The qualified candidates will be allotted seats based on Common counselling or CAP rounds conducted by DTE which is likely to be scheduled in April/May. The provisional merit list of MAH MBA/MMS 2017 has been declared June 5. The result was announced on March 10, 2017 in online mode. The MAH CET 2017 result carrying the candidates' Rank, Scores and Percentiles has been announced on March 14. Out of 200 marks, the highest score obtained is 145. As many as 49 candidates have scored zero in the exam. Candidates can check their scores by logging in through MAH CET 2017 Registration Number and Date of Birth (DD/MM/YY) format. Only those candidates who have their results as per the cut off/merit will be allowed to appear in the counselling rounds. After the completion of the counselling rounds, the final merit list will be declared in the second week of June 2017.
The officials, DTE, will release the Cutoff of MAH CET for the students to check. Only on the basis of MAH CET 2017 cut off, students will be called for counselling rounds. This year as well, the cutoff is expected to be on the same lines as that of last years. Candidates can check below the last year cut off of top MBA colleges accepting MAH CET score.

After the declaration of the final results of the MAH CET 2017, the officials had conducted Centralised Admission Process (CAP) rounds from May 15 to June 4, 2017. According to the marks of the candidates, their ranks are determined and are allotted institutes/colleges. On completion of the counselling rounds/CAP rounds, the final list of selected candidates is declared tentatively during the third week of June.
Various institutes/colleges are affiliated to DTE, as per which, they select students on the basis of MAH CET scores. Until last year, the total numbers of participating institutes were more than hundred. It is likely that the number of the participating/affiliated institutes will increase this year. Candidates, who have successfully registered for the MAH-MBA/MMS-CET 2017 can use their login details to download the admit card or the hall ticket. Candidates are required to take a printout of the MAH CET 2017 admit card and carry it at the time of the test. The candidates were not sent the admit card or the hall ticket by post. The admit card was available from February 22, 2017, onwards. Although the original date of availability of admit card was February 23, the release of Hall tickets was preponed by a day.
MAH CET 2017 is an online objective type test. The question paper consists of 200 objective questions/ multiple choice questions to be answered within 150 minutes or two and a half hours. According to the marking scheme, there will be one mark for every correct answer. There will be no negative marking in the paper.

DTE Maharashtra prescribes the MAH MBA/MMS CET syllabus. The questions are asked from:
Logical / Abstract Reasoning - Include questions to measures how quickly & accurately candidates can think. The test may have questions from figures, diagrams, verbal reasoning, etc.
Quantitative Aptitude - Include questions to know how fast & accurate candidates can work with the numbers, do numerical calculations understand various arithmetic problems involving ratio & proportion, quantitative reasoning, percentage, interpretation of tables, charts, common graphs etc.
Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension - Include passages with questions to test your comprehension. Also include questions on grammar, sentence completion, vocabulary, antonyms, comprehension of passages, synonyms, etc.
The procedure for applying to MAH CET 2017 was completely online. MAH CET 2017 application forms were available from January 21, 2017, and ended on February 13 for the eligible candidates to fill. Candidates first needed to register by entering a valid e-mail id and generate a password. After the registration, the candidate needed to re-login and fill all the mandatory information in the form.
The application fee for MAH CET 2017 had to be paid either through net banking or by a debit/credit card. Candidates belonging to the General category needed to pay a fee of Rs 1000, while the fee for reserved category candidate was Rs 800.

It has been clearly stated by the officials, that no MAH CET application form and fee will be accepted by post/courier or any other mode besides online. The same will be rejected.
DTE Maharashtra prescribes the eligibility criteria of MAH MBA/MMS CET 2017 as mentioned below:
Candidates applying for the MAH CET 2017 need to be a graduate or have an equivalent degree from a recognised university.
The general category aspirants must have 50 per cent and reserved category students must have 45 per cent in their graduation.
Those, who are in the final year of their graduation, can also apply for the examination. However, they need to show their passing certificate at the time of counselling.
