MICAT 2017: MICA Ahmedabad conducts MICAT, national level management test, for admissions to its Post Graduate Diploma Management in Communication (PGDM-C) programme offering 180 seats. MICAT 2017 is a combination of subjective and objective test, which is conducted twice. MICAT II was conducted on February 12, 2017. The result of MICAT II 2017 has been announced on February 22. Candidates who appeared in the test can now download the PGDM-C MICAT-II Score card from the official website or from this page, by entering the log-in id and password. Earlier the officials announced that the MICAT result and score card will be available on February 27, but the same has been released now. MICAT I was held on December 11. As many as 3908 candidates had appeared for MICAT I out of the 4453 applicants. Final results of MICAT

The result cum scores of MICAT II has been declared on February 22, 2017. Although the original date of declaring the MICAT II result was February 20, it got postponed first to February 21, then by February 22. While the score cards were released for a short while in the afternoon of February 22, it was revoked by the officials and postponed it till February 27. However, the MICAT II Scorecards were finally released on February 22, evening hours. MICAT result 2017 has been announced only for those students who have appeared in the test. The GE PI shortlist will be released in few days. The final selection list will be declared on March 31, 2017. Students will only be able to check their score-cards on the official website. Earlier, the result or scores for MICAT-I 2017 was announced on December 22.
MICAT 2017 Cutoff
The expected MICAT cut off 2017 is a score between 59 and 62. Based on the cutoff marks, MICA will shortlist the candidates who will have to appear for the final selection procedure - Group Exercise and Personal Interview (GE and PI).
The selection process consists of two stages- Stage I and Stage II. The admission test assessed candidates in areas such as Divergent Thinking Abilities, Written Communication Abilities, General Awareness about contemporary social and business issues, including areas relevant to media, marketing, advertising & current affairs and Analytical & Verbal Abilities. The Admission test also includes psychometric profiling to assess the candidate’s leadership potential.
Stage- I: Candidates who applied to MICA with scores of CAT / XAT/ GMAT (2015 onwards), will be allowed to appear in MICAT. Candidates will be shortlisted for the second round on the basis of their scores in MICAT 2017. Quantitative and Verbal sections from CAT, XAT or GMAT scores will be given 20 per cent weightage each.
Stage- II: Short listed candidates have to appear in the Group Exercise (GE) and Personal Interview (PI) rounds. For shortlisting candidates, MICA will use the better of the two MICAT Scores. The shortlist process consists of a Group Exercise and a Personal Interview. The officials have described the selection process as per which the merit list will be prepared as per the below-given steps.

MICAT is a computer-based test and is conducted twice for selection of PGDM-C 2017-2019 batch. MICAT 2017 was held across 27 cities, which was increased compared to last year’s 14 test cities. In the test, MICA assess candidates based on 6 sections:

The first test of MICAT was conducted on December 11, and the second test was held on February 12, 2017.
MICAT II 2017 admit card was released on February 6, 2017. The candidates had to download the admit card and take a print out for the same to present at the time of the test. MICAT admit card 2017 was available in online mode only. Earlier, the admit card for MICAT I 2017 was released on December 2 for the exam held on December 11.
MICAT II application form 2017 was available from January 3. For eligible candidates, MICAT registration process was completely online, no other modes were accepted. The candidates had to apply along with an application fee of Rs 1965. As per the MICAT 2017 application form process, there were four steps to be completed by the applicant.

MICA Ahmedabad prescribes the eligibility criteria for MICAT 2017.
Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree with the 10 + 2 + 3 system or an equivalent qualification in any discipline recognised by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU)
Final year Bachelor's students are also eligible to apply. Applicants must also have valid scores of at least one of the entrance tests- CAT, XAT and GMAT (2015 onwards)
