NMAT 2026 Registration: Image Upload Specifications

Steps to Fill the 2026 NMAT Application Form

Step 1: Go to the official NMAT by GMAC website, mba.com/exams/nmat. For first-time visitors, click on the "Register for NMAT by GMAC" button. Candidates who have already registered can click on "Already Registered? Login here".

Step 2: Candidates need to enter the following details to create an MBA.com account. This account can be used to register for the NMAT exam:

• First Name
• Last Name
• Email Address
• Password
• Re-enter Password

Step 3: Log in using the credentials received on the registered email ID. From the login dashboard, click on the 'NMAT by GMAC Dashboard' button. Fill the NMAT application form with personal details, followed by uploading a passport-size photograph, and click the next button.

Step 4: Choose the schools to send the scores under the "Schools Preference" section. Up to 5 programmes will be included in the NMAT exam 2026 registration fee. An additional fee of INR 200 + applicable taxes will be applied for each programme added in excess of 5 programmes.

Step 5: Candidates must upload a photograph that is similar to the photograph on their Photo ID. This photograph will be included on the admit card that you must show to the test centre administrator at the test centre or to the online proctor.

Step 6: Select the NMAT 2026 exam mode if you want to take the NMAT exam at the test centre or Online Proctored at Home.

(NOTE: Once the NMAT exam is booked, one cannot reschedule to a different mode for the same attempt. However, one can choose the exam mode again while scheduling the next attempt.

For example, if a candidate has scheduled their first attempt at the NMAT 2026 test centre, then they can’t reschedule that exam to an online proctored exam at home or vice versa. However, the candidate can again choose their exam mode to test at an NMAT test centre in 2026 or online, proctored at home,e when they schedule their retake 1 or retake 2.

Step 7: Pay the NMAT exam fee via:

Step 8: Once the payment is realised, the scheduled NMAT 2026 option will be activated in the dashboard so that the candidates can schedule their NMAT exam. Candidates can book any slot at least 24 hours from the time of booking.

Schedule at the NMAT Test Centre 2026

• Click on the ‘book exam’ tab to reach the scheduling system.
• Choose the country and city, the NMAT test centre, and choose the date and time to take the exam.

Schedule an Online Proctored Test at Home

• The first step will be to fill out the ‘My Profile’ section before moving on to ‘Scheduling exam appointment’.

Candidates can set up their photo identification by uploading a Government-issued ID. This ID must be uploaded for verification purposes. The following instructions are provided to the user.

• Take a picture of the photo ID using a smartphone, a camera, or a webcam on your PC.
• Save the image of the photo ID to your PC.
• Upload the image from the PC to the Examity scheduling system

• Candidates can select from an available list of security questions to set up 3 security questions.
• The system will prompt the candidate to answer 1 of the security questions during the authentication process when logging in to take the exam, so please remember or note down the responses.

Exam Appointment

Please select the date and the correct time zone to schedule the NMAT exam 2026. Please ensure you choose the correct time zone, as the ‘Begin Test’ tab will be enabled at the time chosen by the candidate.

Exam KEY

The candidate has to enter the first name, last name, first name, and last name, and re-enter the first name and last name.

• No spaces or capital letters should be used while entering this information. The system will save the keystroke entry of the data that is entered, and this will be used as part of the authentication process when the candidate logs in to take the exam.
• If the candidate fails to successfully enter the exam key information 3 times, a red flag will be raised.

To reschedule the NMAT exam 2026, candidates must follow the steps given below:

2. Click on the “Schedule Exam” button
3. Select the date and time of the test

5. Complete the process by paying the rescheduling fee using a Credit Card only

NMAT Retake Registration 2026

The candidates will be allowed to take the NMAT by GMAC exam a maximum of three times during the year’s testing period. This will include the first attempt plus a maximum of two retakes. No-shows are considered attempts.

The NMAT retake registration 2026 option will be enabled in the candidate’s dashboard after their NMAT 2026 exam date. The candidate needs to register for the retake by simply clicking on the retake section, selecting the NMAT exam mode, and paying the retake fees.

Note: Retake can be scheduled after the completion of a scheduled attempt, and the NMAT 2026 retake exam can only be taken after a gap of 15 days from the previous attempt.
