OJEE MBA 2017: The Odisha Joint Entrance Examination for Masters in Business Administration (OJEE MBA) 2017 was held on May 14, 2017 (Sunday). The result has been declared on May 31. The OJEE Committee has released the official answer key on May 19, 2017. Candidates can check the accuracy of their answers by matching their answer options with the official OJEE MBA 2017 Answer Key.
The OJEE MBA 2017 result has been declared on May 31, 2017. Aspirants can download their scores and rank cards from the official website and accordingly appear for counselling rounds to know the B-schools they are allotted.
The cut off of OJEE MBA 2017 will be released in the first week of June after the declaration of result. Odisha JEE MBA 2017 cut off varies from B-School to B-School.
OJEE MBA Participating Colleges 2017
There are 10 government colleges and 57 private colleges which will accept the scores of OJEE MBA 2017. The intake of 10 government colleges is 650 and that of the private colleges is 4,839 seats.
Admissions of candidates to all private and government educational institutes offering MBA programme for the prescribed number of seats available will be made through centralised counselling in order of merit. The dates for the same will be announced post the result has been announced.
Depending on the availability of the vacant seats post the completion of two rounds of counselling, the OJEE Committee may announce a second round of OJEE MBA 2017.
Having registered for the exam, candidates must be familiar with the entire exam pattern of the exam to help them prepare with more clarity.
Odisha JEE MBA 2017 is a paper-pencil based exam, with 120 objective multiple choice questions carrying four marks each.
These questions are divided into five sections – Verbal Reasoning, Analytical Reasoning, General Knowledge, Comprehension and Computer and Business Fundamentals.
Each section carries a varying number of questions (ranging from 10 to 40) out of the total of 120 questions.
Negative marking of one mark will be applicable for each wrong answer.
The total exam duration is two hours.
The eligibility criteria for OJEE MBA 2017 has been officially announced by the OJEE Committee. The aspirants have to fulfil any of the three criteria listed below:
Completed graduation (in any discipline) of minimum three years’ duration from any university or a recognised institute or university outside Odisha but defined by UGC or AICTE. The minimum passing marks in this case must be 50 per cent marks (45 per cent in case of aspirants belonging to SC/ST category) at the qualifying exam.
Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Technology/Architecture/Pharmacy programmes of four – five years duration from any University of or a recognised institute or university outside Odisha but defined by UGC or AICTE. The minimum passing marks, in this case, must be 50 per cent marks (45 per cent in case of aspirants belonging to SC/ST category) at the qualifying exam.

There is no prescribed age limit for applying to OJEE MBA 2017. Only those candidates belonging to the state of Odisha be considered for admission at the Government B-schools. However, candidates across India are eligible for MBA admission at the private B-schools of Odisha.
Candidates could download their OJEE MBA 2017 admit cards from the from April 20, 2017. As per the official instructions, candidates must download two copies of the admit card by April 25, 2017. If they are unable to download the admit card by April 25, 2017, they have to contact Odisha JEE 2017 exam committee before April 30, 2017. In case any information has to be changed on the downloaded OJEE admit card, the same must be brought to the notice of exam committee before April 30, 2017.
Both admit cards must be signed by the exam invigilator. One JEE MBA admit card should be submitted at the exam centre and the other retained by the candidate.
The application procedure for OJEE MBA 2017 was completely online. Aspirants had to visit the official website of the exam committee to register and submit their application forms, the window for which was between February 3 to March 26, 2017. the last date to pay application fee was March 28, 2017. The original application deadline was March 10, which has been extended.
Application Fee: While submitting the OJEE MBA 2017 application form, aspirants had to pay a fee of Rs. 1000 at the time of registration through online payment channel using their Debit/Credit Card, Net Banking or e-challan. Bank charges (if any) were applicable as per the norms, over and above the prescribed fee.
Steps to Apply Online
1. Visit the official website of the OJEE MBA 2017 Examination Committee.
2. Click on the 'application form for OJEE 2017' tab.
3. Select the appropriate form based on the course applying for. Click on Form C to apply for OJEE MBA programme for the batch 2017-19.
4. Follow the three listed steps to register as a New Candidate, check whether the selected form is Form C, then click Apply.
5. Fill in the online Odisha JEE 2017 application form and note down the registration number after submission. The registration number and password will be used as login credentials.
6. Log-in with your credentials and fill the OJEE application form 2017.
7. Upload your recent passport size photograph, signature and thumb impression.
8. Pay the application fee of Rs. 1000 for applying to the MBA stream via Credit/Debit Cards (Visa/Master/Maestro cards/Net Banking). This can be done through either of the two payment gateways – Billdesk or SBI.
9. Offline mode of payment, or the e-challan mode is also an option. Candidates can print the challan and pay the required fee at any SBI branches.
