TANCET MBA 2017: Anna University, Chennai on behalf of the Government of Tamil Nadu has conducted Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) MBA for admissions to post graduate management programmes at University and other Government, Government aided, and Self financing state level institutes. The result of TANCET MBA 2017 has been declared on April 11, 2017. TANCET MBA 2017 was conducted in a paper-pencil based mode on March 25, 2017 from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm. The online TANCET MBA 2017 application process had started from January 29, and continued till February 28, 2017. The officials has announced the TANCET MBA 2017 result and mark sheet in the form of scores on April 11, 2017. Every Candidates have to present the mark sheet at the time of counselling or final admissions. A duplicate mark sheet can be obtained on payment of Rs 100 in the form of a Demand Draft, with a written request to the Secretary, TANCET, Anna University, Chennai – 600 025.
As such the conducting body will not release any TANCET cutoff. However, each of the participating institutes will release their own Cutoff for TANCET 2017 admssions; most likely after the announcement of the TANCET results. It is likely that the general category cutoff will be around 33.45 scores for admissions.
Candidates first will be shortlisted on the basis of the TANCET MBA 2017 results. The shortlisted candidates will later have to appear for the counselling rounds, based on their scores and ranks. The seat allotment will be after the final counselling rounds. The dates and schedule of the counselling has been announced by the official body. The counselling registration has started from June 1.
TANCET MBA Answer Key 2017
As the test is conducted in an offline mode, the experts from different coaching institutes are likely to relaese TANCET MBA 2017 Answer Key after the test has been conducted. Candidates must also note that the officials do not release TANCET MBA answer key and only experts share a tentative anwer key for the students to have an estimate of the results of the test.
The officials had released the TANCET MBA hall ticket or admit card on March 14. Candidates who had completed the registration process successfully could download the hall ticket. As mentioned in the official TANCET MBA brochure, the Hall Ticket presented at the time of test and during the counselling process (admissions). In case a candidate loses his hall ticket, a duplicate hall ticket could be obtained on payment of Rs 100 in the form of a Demand Draft, with a written request to The Secretary, TANCET, Anna University, Chennai – 600 025. They had mentioned the application or registeration number along with the name of the examination centre.
According to the official test pattern of TANCET MBA 2017, the test was of two hours, held from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm. The paper was objective in nature and was conducted in a paper-pencil based mode. TANCET MBA 2017 conducted in English medium only with five sections. The question paper have the following sections:

TANCET MBA Test Centres 2017
The test conducted in the following 15 cities:
Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree with minimum 50 per cent marks (45 per cent for reserved category candidates). The officials had mentioned the following degree qualification criteria:
(a) 10+2+3 years pattern (or)
(b) 10+3 years Diploma +3 years pattern (or)
(c) B.E./B.Tech./B.Arch./B.Pharm. (or)
(d) (i) 10+2+AMIE (or) (ii) 10+3 years diploma (awarded by the State Board of Technical Education) + AMIE.
Candidates from other states could appear for the entrance exam, but the eligibility criteria was fixed by the conducting authority or University.
TANCET MBA 2017 application form was available from January 29. Eligible candidates could register for the test via online mode only by filling the application forms, uploading the rquisite documents and photograph, and the application fee. Candidates in their final year of graduation could also apply for the 2017 test. The last date to fill TANCET MBA application form 2017 was February 28, which had been extended from February 20, 2017.
Application Fee: The Candidates had to pay Rs 500 ( Rs 250 for SC /SCA /ST candidates) as entrance test fee for admissions to any one of the programme. Candidates who aspired to fill more than one programme in the application fee had to pay additional Rs 500 for that programme, and so on.
