TSICET Counselling 2017: The exam conducting body of TSICET, Kakatiya University, Warangal, will organise the counselling of TSICET 2017 tentatively in the month of June 2017. The official dates for counselling have not been shared by Kakatiya University, Warangal, on behalf of the Telangana State Council for Higher Education (TSCHE). TSICET 2017 counselling rounds for admission to the top B-schools of Telangana offering MBA programmes are conducted after the announcement of the results. TSICET Counselling Rounds Organised
The cutoff of TSICET 2017 will be prepared based on the performance of the candidates in TSICET 2017 along with the minimum marks required to qualify for the counselling rounds. The TSICET 2017 counselling will involve document verification and the final seat allotment will take place basis the ranks acquired by the candidates in the cutoff and the availability of the seats.
The venue of TSICET 2017 counselling will remain same as the 16 exam centres across Telangana. The schedule for counselling remains the same for candidates belonging to different categories, however, venues of TSICET counselling 2017 will be different.
The category-wise prescribed schedule of TSICET counselling 2017 will be shared as and when it is announced by the Kakatiya University.
A counselling fee has to be paid by the candidates at the time of attending the counselling. The fee varies for different categories as follows:
For OC/BC Category – Rs. 600/-
For SC/ST Category – Rs. 300/-
TSICET Counselling 2017 – Documents Required
Candidates shortlisted for the counselling rounds need to carry the following documents in original as well as two sets of photocopies.
TSICET 2017 result printout or rank card
Marksheets or passing certificate of their Bachelor’s degree
Marksheet of Intermediate
Marksheet of SSC or equivalent
Income certificate not older than the one issued on January 1, 2016
Caste certificate issued by an authorised competent authority.
Category-Wise Certificates Required for TSICET Counselling 2017
Candidates belonging to various categories have to present the relevant certificates related to their category as part of the document verification process:
PH – Relevant certificate issued by the District Medical Board having disability more than or equal to 40 per cent.
CAP – Necessary Certificate issued by Zilla Sainik Welfare Officer. In case of Ex-Service men, identity card and service discharge book is required for complete verification. Domicile candidates of Telangana or those with domicile certificate of their parents are eligible to apply.
NCC & Sports – Original certificates issued by competent authorities
Minorities – SSC 'TC' must have Minority Status or Certificate from the Head Master
Anglo-Indian – Certificate issued by competent authority of their place of residence
The seat allotment of TSICET 2017 will be carried out based on the fulfilment of document requirements and guidelines laid down by individual B-Schools. A total of 28,174 seats are on offer for admissions to MBA programmes.
