CAT 2013 Application Form Procedure: The CAT 2013 registration has started from Monday, August 5, 2013 with the start of the CAT 2013 Voucher Sale. The CAT 2013 registration process will start from that very day. The CAT 2013 Voucher Sale will end on Tuesday, September 24, 2013 and the registration process will end on Thursday, September 26, 2013.

Buying the CAT 2013 Voucher
You can buy the CAT 2013 voucher online directly from the IIMs by logging in to the new CAT 2013 website. The CAT 2013 Voucher will also be be sold at select Axis Bank branches from Monday, August 5, 2013 to Tuesday, September 24, 2013.

The price of CAT 2013 Voucher is Rs. 1600, which was the price last year.
Scratch the area covered with silver strip of paper of the CAT 2013 Voucher to obtain your voucher number which is the key to CAT 2013 application procedure.
CAT 2013 Online Registration
Before you start the online registration process for CAT 2013, ensure that you have a valid email address as all communications regarding the exam from IIMs and Prometric will take place in this email address.
Visit the CAT 2013 website, and click on the Register for CAT 2013 link.
Enter your CAT 2013 Voucher number and validate it by entering the Captcha correctly.
The compulsory 3 tasks which you have to complete in order to apply for CAT 2013, which are:
Create a profile
Fill out the CAT 2013 application form
Schedule your test.
According to the CAT website, the estimated duration of the entire schedule will last from 20 to 30 minutes.
Enter your name correctly as it appears on School leaving certificates.
Enter your email address.
Your Username should be a combination of alphanumeric characters (letters and numbers) not more than 50 characters. There should not be any space or special characters.
The password that you select for your profile should include 7 to 20 characters and contain at least 1 alpha and 1 numeric character.
Select a secret Reminder question and answer it. This will come to your rescue in case you forget your password.
You have to use this username and password to login in future if you wish to change any data given by you.
Provide your contact details such as primary and secondary contact number and postal address.
CAT 2013 Application Form Procedure
The initial questions will lead you to provide your personal information such as Gender, Nationality, Category and Date of Birth.
Select the programs and IIMs you wish to apply.
Provide your updated educational qualification and the percentage obtained in each level.
You have to give the details of your work experience (if any) such as number of months of experience, sector of work etc.
After completing each page, click on ‘Save & Continue’ button to move further. Don’t forget to fill up the mandatory fields marked by ‘*’.
After you agree to the Declaration by Candidates, the data provided by you will be saved and the CAT 2013 application process will move to the next level.
Schedule your test
Select your test center as listed out of the 40 test cities in India where CAT 2013 will be conducted. This year, 4 new test locations have been added which are Surat, Udaipur, Trivandrum and Vijaywada.
You have to choose any 1 day out of the total test window of 21 days between Wednesday, October 16 and Monday, November 11, 2013 to take your CAT 2013.
CAT 2013 will be held in 2 slots everyday starting from 10 am and 3.15 pm. Select either of the slots.
The selection of the date and test centre will depend on the availability of the same. If a particular test centre is already 100% registered in a particular or both slots, you have to select a different test center and slot respectively.
After you complete the last phase of CAT 2013 application Form, you will be taken to the Confirmation Page. Check all the information provided by you carefully. In case you want to correct any information, click on the Edit button.
In case you see a red ‘Pending’ button, you have to enter the pending information. As you complete the process, click on the “Finish my registration” button to complete your registration and scheduling process.
At the end of the entire process of CAT 2013 Registration, click on the ‘I am done (exit)’ button to end your scheduling session. This will complete the CAT 2013 application procedure.
