XAT 2014 Application Form Procedure: The XAT 2014 application form procedure has started from Monday, August 12, 2013 onwards as per the schedule. The XAT 2014 application form will be available in the official website of XAT 2014.

After visiting the website, click on the tab ‘XAT Registration’.
Fill in the online form with your details which include your personal and payment details.
After submitting these details, you will be immediately given the XAT ID and password by email. You have to validate the email by logging in to the XAT website again.
The next step of the XAT 2014 application form procedure is to login to the XAT 2014 website using the XAT ID and password and complete the education details.
Proceed further and select the mode of payment among the options of ‘payment through IDBI Bank’, ‘Demand Draft Mode ‘and ‘Credit/Debit Card’. The Demand Draft should be made in favour of "XLRI Jamshedpur A/c XAT" payable at Jamshedpur. Applicants paying through pay-in-slip or through Demand Draft should update the payment details in the XAT 2014 Registration page. Failure to do so will not allow the candidate to upload his/her photo and signature.
After you make the payment of the XAT fee which is Rs. 950 for the General Category candidates and Rs. 650 for the reserved category candidates, you will be notified about the payment.
Take your recent colour passport size photograph in digital format. The picture should be taken against a light/white background. In case the face on the photograph is not clear, your application is liable to be rejected.
File size of each of the photograph should not be more than 50 KB per file.
To reduce the size, crop the image of the passport size photograph in MS Paint or any other Photo Editing software. Ensure that only the full face portion is cropped and not the entire photograph.Only the full face portion is cropped and not the entire photograph.
Uploading signature for XAT 2014 Application process
The candidate should sign on a white paper with black ink pen,
Scan the signature in 200 dpi (dots per inch) scanner resolution setting and the file size should be less than 50 kb in jpeg format.
To reduce the size, crop the image of the signature in MS Paint or any other photo editing software. Ensure that only the signature portion is cropped and not the entire A4 paper on which you have signed.
Once the photograph and signature gets uploaded, you can see the same on the screen.
How to ensure that the photograph and signature are within 50 KB?
Open your digital or scanned photograph and signature in MS Paint.
Press Ctrl + W. A window will open which will have an option ‘resize by %’. Here enter anything between 10 to 50% and save the file with an extension.jpeg.
Check for the size of the file in ‘properties’. If the file size is still higher than 50 KB, open the file again in MS Paint and resize it to bring it down to less than 50 KB.
Repeat this process till the file size is less than 50 KB.
Save the file with the file Name as mentioned above as photo.jpeg and sign.jpeg.
Resuming the XAT 2014 Application Form procedure
After uploading the photograph and signature, you will be redirected to the XAT Confirmation page.
Affix the XAT’s copy of the pay-in-slip in the space provided on the lower half of the XAT 2014 Registration page. You have to carefully retain the payment slip with you till the admission process is over.
Send the XAT Registration Confirmation Page – Cash Mode to XAT Office, Jamshedpur.
Keep a copy of the bank Pay-in-Slip, XAT 2014 Registration Confirmation Page – Cash Mode printout and note the XAT ID and password for future correspondence with XAT office.
After fulfilling all the above mentioned steps, it can be claimed that your XAT 2014 application form procedure is over.
